Stephanie Campbell - acupuncture and bodywork


Stephanie is a member of:

Stephanie graduated with high honours from the Shiatsu School of Canada and Acupuncture Institute in both their Shiatsu (2005) and Acupuncture (2009) programs.  She completed her Yoga Teacher Training (2007) in both hatha and ashtanga at The Yoga Sanctuary, and brings this additional knowledge of the body to her treatments.  She has completed courses in Craniosacral Therapy and SomatoEmotional Release courses with the Upledger Institute and Visceral Manipulation with the Barral Institute.  She finds this lens for viewing the body and its light-touch approach has proven an invaluable addition to her treatments.

Stephanie has a particular interest in women's health which developed as a natural extension of her practice in acupuncture and shiatsu. Stephanie was one of the founding partners of Toronto AcuBirthing, the only oncall service for labouring women in Toronto.

Stephanie is co-chair of Traditional Chinese Medicine Ontario (TCMO), an organization commited to supporting the needs of Acupuncturists and TCM practitioners and raising awareness about this Medicine in Ontario. Since 2006, Stephanie has had various roles at the Shiatsu School of Canada and Acupuncture Institute (SSC), including instructing various shiatsu and acupuncture courses, supervising shiatsu and acupuncture student teaching clinics and Director of their Shiatsu Diploma Program.  Stephanie is a R.Ac. (Registered Acupuncturist) with CTCMPAO (College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario).
